Rega has pioneered the use of lightweight rigid plinths. Clever use of lightweight particulate core with a highly rigid phenolic resin skin became the foundations of the high level of performance achieved by the now iconic original Planar range.
The new Planar 3 takes this design philosophy to the next level. A lightweight acrylic laminated plinth strengthened using a new improved double brace system mounted specifically where the increased rigidity is required. Fitted with the legendary Rega Exact cartridge for outstanding audio reproduction.
All the features of the award-winning Planar 1 turntable with the addition of a built-in high quality MM phono stage, making this the ultimate ‘Plug and Play’ turntable.
This multi-award winning ‘Plug and Play’ design utilises our handmade RB110 tonearm, with pre-set bias and a factory fitted Carbon cartridge. Set-up is possible in under 30 seconds and delivers incredible performance well beyond its price point.
The Rega IO amplifier is the all new integrated amplifier designed with every music lover in mind. It's simple to setup and operate, the Rega io is designed to integrate seamlessly into any hi-fi system. It has two line level inputs and a high quality MM (moving magnet) phono input which are available as sources. A new remote Rega io handset is included as well.
PM6007 is an integrated amplifier incorporating digital connectivity delivering Marantz’s legenday musical sound quality.
This latest amplifier is an ideal choice for those ready to take the next step in building an engaging Hi-Fi system.
Designed to perform using high-quality speaker terminals, A/B switching capability, a fully-shielded DAC unit and customised components for a more refined sound.
The Planar 6 is constructed around a unique ultra-light foam core plinth and HPL laminates. It is designed to deliver a level of performance beyond anything at this price. The Planar 6 features the RB330 tonearm and a dual-layer float glass platter. The supplied Neo turntable power supply provides convenient speed selection, advanced anti-vibration control, and electronic fine speed adjustment.
Please note: The Planar 6 will now ship with new look NEO MK2 power supply as standard.
The Brio has a completely new case to house its improved circuits and parts. It now sits in a fully aluminium two-part case which boosts the Brio’s heat sinking capabilities and improves on Rega’s already solid build quality and reliability.
The new Brio has a cleverly integrated headphone socket specially designed to avoid interference with the audio circuit when not in use and as you would expect, a very high specification moving magnet phono stage is built in as standard.
Throughout the design process the Brio has been meticulously improved in every aspect, from the quality of materials to the manufacturing process, to make this new Brio a step ahead in Rega’s engineering and design for amplifiers.
Improving upon the award-winning CD6006, the finely-tuned CD6007 CD player offers even more specially-selected components and an enhanced circuit layout. Rigid feet further eliminate unwanted vibration while the oversized low noise power supply feeds the digital and analogue circuitry of the player.
Replacing the multi award winning What Hi-Fi? Product of the Year (RP3) was never going to be an easy task. It took our team of designers headed up by Rega’s Roy Gandy, two years to develop the all new ‘Planar 3’ following the biggest re-design of the iconic ‘Three’ model ever seen. The ‘Planar 3’ is a completely new turntable carrying over just two components from the previous RP model.
Rega’s now legendary head electronics engineer Terry Bateman spent 10 years researching the concept of a CD player using valves in the output amplifier.
Valves have been widely used in musical instrument and recording amplification from the 1950s to the present day, therefore it made great sense to develop a valve-based CD player to match that of the signal chain found in such applications.
