Replacing the multi award winning What Hi-Fi? Product of the Year (RP3) was never going to be an easy task. It took our team of designers headed up by Rega’s Roy Gandy, two years to develop the all new ‘Planar 3’ following the biggest re-design of the iconic ‘Three’ model ever seen. The ‘Planar 3’ is a completely new turntable carrying over just two components from the previous RP model.
Striking teardrop turntable with decoupled motor and carbon fibre-topped chassis. Designed to replace the award-winning RPM 5.1, the RPM 5 Carbon takes a technological, audible and cosmetic leap forward compared to the high standard set by its predecessor. Supplied without Cartridge.
The Radius 270 houses a precision-crafted Radius driver system of twin 100 mm (4") C-CAM mid/bass drivers and a 25 mm (1") C-CAM tweeter. Pair with the 225 or 200 for scintillating home theatre audio, or with the 380/390 sub in a discreet two-channel system.
The latest edition to the RPM range of turntables follows on from where the hugely popular Genie 3 left off. The RPM 3 Carbon also boasts a number of improvements from its sibling, the new RPM 1 Carbon.
The Planar 2 was developed over two years alongside the latest Planar 3. Featuring the RB220 tonearm, a new 24 V low noise motor, acrylic high gloss laminated plinth, newly designed central bearing and so much more. Every feature of this innovative new turntable is designed to extract the maximum amount of information and detail from your vinyl collection.
At just 65 mm in depth, the 225 is the perfect match with today’s ultra-thin displays. Use it as a centre channel or main speaker: its acoustic design of twin 4" C-CAM mid/bass drivers astride a 1" C-CAM tweeter delivers superb accuracy from horizontal and vertical positions.
For ultra-discreet sound all around the home, or partnered with the Radius 380 sub for explosive stereo, the original hi-fi mini monitor continues to evolve, incorporating a 4" C-CAM bass driver and 1" C-CAM tweeter.
