The MXR Distortion III Pedal is a small and compact unit that is packed with a plethora of distortion sounds. The Distortion III's effects range from sweet and subtle overdrive, to fierce and crunchy distortion. With three controls and a footswitch, the MXR Distortion III provides players with simple operation that can be used to sculpt their ideal distortion effect. The controls include Output, Tone and Distortion; Output is for adjusting the pedal's overall volume, Tone is for controlling the colouration of the affected signal, and finally the Distortion knob lets players alter the amount of distortion that is applied. The MXR Distortion III also features True Bypass which eliminates any signal interference and allows the natural guitar tone to come through.
