Accounts Assistant – Part Time (c. 25 hours per week)

Maternity Leave cover but with potential for permanency

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Accounts Payable (Processing
  2. Accounts Receivable (Issuing Invoices/Statements email)
  3. Verifying the integrity of invoices/goods received
  4. Complete reconciliations of banks, debtor/creditor accounts
  5. Preparation and filings of VAT returns
  6. Assist with Month end close
  7. Creating and posting weekly/fortnightly payment runs
  8. Monthly Budgeting and Forecasting
  9. Liaising with suppliers, contractors, bank and revenue as required

Required skills:

  1. At least 2 years’ experience
  2. Experience with SAGE accounting highly desirable
  3. Strong PC skills required
  4. Ability to adapt, multitask and work on own initiative
  5. Strong organisational skills
