The Pearl Export 14x6.5" Snare Drum is constructed with 6-ply poplar/Asian mahogany with a black finish. For optimal sound development of the exotic woods, the Export shells are made in a special SST (Super Shell Technology) process and then are equipped with weight reduced lugs in a new design.
