For your stereo recordings to sound accurate and precise, you need to have a pair of microphones that match. By buying this matched pair you can be assured that the two microphones provided are of the best quality possible. The result is an incredibly high correlation over the whole frequency range and virtually identical sensitivity.

Designed for a naturally balanced sound quality. The sE7's optimised capsule is designed to have an as precise transient response. It's cardioid polar pattern allows you to record any source with incredible results. The microphone has a very short signal path and when coupled with the state of the art electronics, it's easy to see why the sE7 is one of the cleanest and quietest microphones in its class. It also has a transformer less design which ensures amazing sound quality. It records and reproduces instruments with superb depth.

The microphone comes with a switchable pre-attenuation pad. This switchable pad means you can add -20dB which prevents the overloading of your preamp or mixer. Helping you achieve an extended dynamic range. The low-cut filter is integrated to provide 80Hz of filtering which helps eliminate low-frequency rumble and is also great at restraining proximity effect with close microphone techniques.

The all-metal chassis of the sE7 provides efficient rejection of any interference - meaning it plays a huge part in making your audio recordings sound as good as possible. And not only that, it looks good too, the coated finish means your microphone can withstand the bumps and scrapes of day to day recording. It's even great for slinging in your bag when you're recording out in the field.
